Description
Nikki is a character from the webcomic Wings by Hathor, and I drew it for Character Art Exchange
her profile mentioned she likes birds, so...
The last time I drew an image that was bigger than an ATC and had a background using colourpencils was 5-6 years ago. I'll definitely need more practise, particularly on layering and skintone...

Hello, sorry I'm coming in a little late...
As others have commented, there is something up with her waist/thighs... The thighs are a little too long and her torso is too short, (I think that's what's making people think the waist look thick). I would like to just put my finger on her butt and press it down a bit, I think that would make things look much better.
The colors look very pale (except on her purple trousers), maybe it's a result from the scan? Anyway, I would like to say that you shouldn't be afraid of a little contrast!
Aside from that, I like the image! The bush the bird is sitting in looks very natural, and it's very important to the composition. I like how it just sticks up from the bottom of the image. I also like how Nikki and the bird are facing each other; it creates a subtle little drama...
