These are sketches I made months ago... I'd planned to make more, but didn't, so I'll post it now. maybe update later, we'll see.

Some things that may be useful if you want t avoid different characters of yours looking too similar.
Note: The shapes of features change with different expressions, this is just basic stuff.

Shape of Face
  • Face outline: round, oval, square, rectangular, triangular?
  • Chin: Round or pointed or angular? Wide or narrow? Is it maybe cleft or dimpled?
  • Cheeks: Round or angular? Sharply defined or soft? High? Wide?
  • Hairline: straight, curved, widow's peak...

Mouth/lips
  • Full or narrow? Lower lip fuller than uper lip, or about even?
  • Philtrum (that's the grove between the lips and nose): Wide or narrow? Round bottom edge or angular?
  • What's the shape of the line from the corner of the mouth TO the philtrum? Straight convey, concave?
  • What's the shape of the bottom outline of the lower lip?
  • How defined is the beaky little tip in the middle of the upper lip?
  • How big is the mouth relative to the face?
  • How deep and big is the dip between the lower lip and the chin?
