Deviation Actions
Hey there! I thought I'd try to make this regular. Here's what I've been up to in the past month, and some other things.
What are you up to?
When you're looking at a gallery, favs folder, or messages, and the little "Prev | All | Next" shows up in the top left, you can navigate to the next or previous using the arrow keys on your keyboard.
When you are looking at deviations etc. in your inbox that way, and the "Remove from Messages" button shows up on the right hand side, you can remove the item you're looking at from your messages by hitting the X key.
If you like Secret Santa art trades of original characters, consider joining Character Art Exchange. It runs monthly, and is open to all media, and all kinds of characters.
This is a monthly creative jam that leans heavily towards fantasy. Anybody can leave prompts (short phrases for inspiration). Anybody can use any prompt as a jumping-off point for a sketch, which then can be uploaded to the website. No more than 1 hour may be spent on the sketch, though it's OK to add a finished version later. It's likewise open to all media - the "sketches" submitted in the past have included clay works prior to dryng and firing
You can find it at www.ellenmilliongraphics.com/sketchfest/. The September Sketch Fest runs September 26-28.
I'm nibbling away on the A to Z challenge that should have been completed in April.
Hats - something slightly fairy-tale-ish
Inviting - anxiety-related slice of life
Jingles - Justice administered by budgies can be cruel
King Is Now Crown Prince Again
and I've got a few more in draft form
I'm now signed up to a weekly figure drawing course. Not sure if I'll show any of the results this time, but hopefully it'll help with the getting back in the habit of drawing people.
Drop a line.

I may be back?
Trying to make drawing a habit again. In the meantime, crochet is relaxing. It's awesome making something that you can pick up and squish and it has weight and dimension and it feels soft.

Spring Is In The Air...
...and I'm going to try to get a bit more life in here, too.
I have not been drawing much in the last handful of months, though in January and February I had some fun getting my feet wet with resin work, metaphorically speaking. The photos felt a bit too makeshift to post here, but—
OK, enough with the sorta-negativity. I have been doodling/drawing a bit lately, and I want to draw more.
There are a lot of drawing challenges of the form "draw lots of images/sketches [to theme] month", and one for April is to draw fairies or fae creatures, under the heading of Faepril. So, there will be fairies incoming.
Little hitch at the start: I'm
